I really have no excuse for my lack of posts here on the Vox. It's not for the lack of subject matter: democratic nomination pending, new cat, gas four bucks, blah blah blah. The list can go on. It's just been complete lack of effort on my part. For that, I apologize.
I'm super stoked because Less Than Jake are releasing a new album in June. Can't wait for that one. I fondly remember going to Jannus Landing in St. Pete (name dropping for all you florida folks!) countless times to catch a LTJ show during my college years. They are a great live band and if you get the chance, check 'em out. You'll probably get into the show for less than 20 bucks, too.
I fondly remember trekking out to the Orlando House of Blues to watch a LTJ/NoFX show. I also fondly remember LTJ blowing the socks off of the NoFX fans in the crowd, pleasantly surprised I'm sure. There was a scurry to the merch table after their set like I have never witnessed before. Sigh....I miss live music. The Knox music scene is a little sparse.
I am going out on a limb and will declare that HRC will get the Dem nomination for the upcoming prez election. I can't prove it, but I think that she will overtake Obamama in some back room, underhanded dealings. It just feels like that type of election...shady-ness all around. If the DNC seats all the delegates in Mich and FL and Obamama doesn't get any of those MI delegates (because he followed the fucking DNC's suggestion that candidates should remove their name from the ballot!...which HRC did NOT do) then I believe that he would have grounds for a serious lawsuit. This race could get very hairy. I hope I'm not right.
The kitty is super cute. Kind of crackheaded but cute. Aren't all kittens cute, though?

Well, it appears I have taken a sabbatical from blogging. It really wasn't intentional it just turned out that days turned into weeks really quicklike. At least I feel like wandering back now.
- So, the new kitty is in the house. She seems to have adjusted well, knows where her shitter is, and is liking the dog more and more each day. So, all is good. This cat is definitely a "mama's girl" though; she has taken a shine to Jenn like I can't believe. That's ok because Modog is a daddy's girl.
- We had a nice graduation for the crazy kids at work. It turned out a lot nicer than I expected.
- It looks like Obama will pull out the feat of outlasting "devilwoman". Man, talk about a chick that just won't quit. She just doesn't see the writing on the wall with all the superdelegates jumping ship and Obama getting all the important endorsements (VP Edwards, anyone?). It would be a miracle if the debil could pull out a victory in the end. But, shadier things have happened.
